Skate Fitness Classes
We are currently running one class format: a combination class for beginner, intermediate, and advanced skaters. Class starts with a warm-up, dynamic stretches, and a skill segment that will introduce any skills that are being used that day, so new skaters will be able to feel confident that they aren't in over their heads. For more advanced skaters, we'll be finding your limits with each skill and encouraging you to push it to the next level.
Every class is different and we’re always looking for new things to add to our repertoire, but you can always expect some sort of a fitness dance jam that incorporates skating, floor work, partner drills, and body weight exercises to get you a great workout that will have you leaving class smiling and dripping in sweat.
We end with a cool down and some good slow stretching to relax your body and thank it for its hard work... high fives all around, and a moment to share if you're planning any adventures that the group might like to join.
